Head Mike Stanley's philosophy: 'If children are happy, nurtured, understood and valued, they will fly and academics will fall into place.' The school aims to deliver academics alongside daily moments of magic to foster a lifelong love of learning. Word-of-mouth reputation is growing rapidly.

Additional provision includes a yoga programme, a worry box at the front desk, an annual happiness outing, pet assemblies and planned timetabled wellbeing lessons. Pupils take the register with a feelings check-in and can be head for the day once a year. Two guinea pigs (Bubble and Squeak, chosen by pupil vote) are part of the school family. Parents have reps on a committee that meets the head; works
