Without Houseroom
Nobody will give you a straight read on where your child stands
Schools won't say whether your child is a realistic candidate. Tutors are paid to be encouraging, and other parents compare unreliably — so you apply half-blind, aiming too low or setting your child up for a sitting they weren't ready for.

FAQ
Questions parents ask.
Who can see my child's profile?
Only you. We never sell parent data, and schools never see an individual child's profile unless you explicitly choose to enquire or share a shortlist with them. Your profile sits privately in your free parent account, used to power your fit and readiness view — nothing is exposed by default.
How is fit and readiness actually worked out?
Your child's profile is read against the verified data we hold for each school — entry point, academic profile, distance and destinations — and grouped as reach, target or safer. The fit is grounded in real, sourced school data rather than guesswork, so you can see the reasoning behind each verdict.
Can I trust the read, or is it just optimistic?
It's built to be honest, not flattering. Because the assessment runs on verified school data rather than a tutor's encouragement or another parent's anxiety, it will tell you when a school is a stretch — that's the whole point. Where a school holds little public data, we say so rather than overstate the fit.
What goes into a child profile?
Your child's stage and entry point, academic profile and strengths, plus the preferences that shape fit — boarding, distance, single-sex or co-ed, and similar. It takes a few minutes to build, and you can refine it as you learn more.
Can I add more than one child?
Yes. Each child has their own profile, so the picture stays accurate when you're considering schools for more than one. The free parent account supports multiple children side by side.
Does the profile improve recommendations and prep?
Yes. The same profile powers school matching, the readiness view and the exam-prep plan, so the more complete it is, the sharper everything downstream becomes — without re-entering the picture each time.

The honest answers.
Is my child's data safe — who actually gets to see it?
You, and no one else by default. We don't sell parent data and we don't hand profiles to schools. A school only ever sees your child's details if you decide to enquire or share — the profile exists to inform your decisions, not to be sold or surfaced.
Can I really trust the fit, or is it guesswork dressed up?
Every verdict is read against verified, sourced school data — entry bars, academic profiles, destinations — not opinion. It's designed to give you the honest answer schools and tutors won't, including when a school is out of reach, and it's free with a parent account.
