DD is in Year 5, comfortable top-half at a non-selective indie. Currently looking at SPGS, Putney High, Wimbledon High and Surbiton High.
Her tutor thinks SPGS is a stretch and would honestly drop it. I keep going back and forth — partly because the open day was lovely, partly because I'd rather she sit it and not get in than wonder.
For parents who've been through this recently: how many schools is sensible to sit, and did you regret keeping a stretch school on the list?
