DD chose IB last September. Honest mid-year reflection from us: harder than expected, but she's a much better student than she was last June.

What's worked: TOK has actually grown into something she enjoys. Six-subject load means weak areas stay live.

What's hard: relentless deadlines, EE on top of mocks. If she were a 3-A-levels kid she'd be sleeping. She doesn't regret it.

If you're choosing now — happy to share more.
