Recent coverage

City Junior School, an independent co-educational institution for children aged 7 to 11, opened in September 2022 in Gray's Inn, London. In October 2023, the school underwent an inspection to increase its registered capacity from 150 to 225 pupils, accommodating a new Year 3 cohort starting in September 2024. The inspection confirmed that the premises met the requirements for the proposed increase, with unused classrooms available to accommodate the additional pupils. In February 2026, the school announced the appointment of Matthew Foster as the new Head, effective September 2025, following a rigorous recruitment process. The school celebrated its official opening in March 2026, with The Rt Hon the Baroness Hale and Alderman and Sheriff Alastair King cutting the ribbon in the new library.
