About This Programme

RADA's Young Actors Summer School gives 16-18 year-olds a taste of classes at a world-leading drama school across a two-week programme. Under the guidance of RADA's expert tutors, students build a solid grounding in the fundamentals of acting through classes in Acting Technique, Text and Scene Study, Voice and Movement, and Devising. It is particularly suitable for those considering actor training at degree level, and no prior experience is required.
Schedule
Classes in Acting Technique, Text and Scene Study (Shakespeare and contemporary writers), Voice and Movement, and Devising.

Admission Requirements

Selection by application; ages 16-18 at the start of the course; participants must have fluent, confident English. Students aged 16 or 17 need parental/guardian permission. No prior experience required.

Daily Schedule

Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm, working in an ensemble across practical acting, text, voice, movement and devising classes.
