About This Programme

Stonar School's Residential Riding Camps offer children aged 9 to 16 daily riding lessons with BHS-qualified coaches at a British Horse Society approved equestrian centre on a 90-acre rural campus in Wiltshire. Campers receive two riding lessons per day plus stable management instruction, with the week ending in a Friday afternoon tea and rosette presentation. The camps are residential with full accommodation and all meals provided.

Schedule: Easter: Apr 5-10, Apr 12-17. Summer: Jul 12-17, Jul 19-24, Aug 9-14, Aug 16-21 (summer sessions own horses only). Max 6 riders per session. BHS-qualified coaches. Daily stable management + riding.

Admission Requirements

Beginner to advanced riders accepted; no complete beginners on lead rein. Own horses must be fully vaccinated with a negative strangles test within two weeks prior.
