The report highlighted the school's exemplary career guidance and student transition support as a "significant strength," noting that students, many of whom had faced considerable educational disruption, were now achieving strong outcomes due to this tailored support. In May 2025, the school announced that Executive Headteacher Cathy Haysom would step down at the end of the academic year to support her daughter and explore new business opportunities. Chris Seymour, a member of the Senior Leadership Team since 2019, was appointed as the new Executive Headteacher, effective 1st September 2025. Regarding academic performance, the 2024-2025 data indicated an Attainment 8 score of 5.5, with 6.7% of students achieving a Grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics GCSEs.
